Is a head office program designed to provide chains of 10 - 100 stores the tools to maintain products, promotional events, customers, vendors, employees, and other information which are essential to daily store operations. From the head office, data will be populated to all store systems. This feature allows key personnel at the head office to maintain the database centrally, rather than having this data maintenance duplicated, many times causing inconsistencies in the stores. Star~Link also serves as a "Data Warehouse" that collects all sales, cash balancing and other information from the stores. The management team will query useful information such as cashier performances, sales history, top selling items, item without sales, etc. from the database to manage their business. In addition, the management team can generate a purchase order from the head office for all stores and use replenishment stock allocation to calculate suggested purchase orders for all stores. With the combined purchase quantities from all the stores the management team can cut deals with selected vendors. Other new features, such as centralized Accounts Receivable, a centralized loyalty program and a centralized store transfer, will be added to the Star~Link software package to allow the management team to manage their stores more effectively.
